Sony has expanded its BRAVIA Professional Display range with the launch of the new BZ-P Series, a refreshed family of 4K displays that brings higher brightness, improved anti-glare performance and greater installation flexibility to a wide range of residential and professional AV applications.
While the BZ-P Series has clear relevance for retail, corporate and education projects, the range also opens up strong opportunities in the home. For installers working on bright living spaces, open-plan kitchens, garden rooms, private gyms, media rooms or multi-use entertaining areas, these displays offer a more considered alternative to a conventional television.
The key advantage is visibility. In rooms with large windows, roof lights or high levels of ambient light, a standard TV can quickly become too reflective, making dark scenes harder to see and daytime viewing less comfortable. Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare technology is designed to reduce reflections while maintaining contrast and black level performance, helping the image remain clear and watchable in demanding residential environments.

Premium Performance with the BRAVIA BZ40P Series
At the top of the range is the BRAVIA BZ40P Series, delivering up to 700cd/m² brightness alongside Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare Premium technology.
This is the model to look at for high-impact residential spaces where light control is limited. With a 47% haze coating, low-reflection processing and AI-powered contrast enhancement from Sony’s XR Processor, the BZ40P Series is designed to suppress glare without leaving the image looking washed out.
For home installations, that makes it a strong option for large, bright family rooms, high-end kitchen/living spaces, wellness rooms or entertainment areas where the display needs to perform throughout the day, not just in controlled evening conditions.
The BZ40P Series is available in 55”, 65”, 75” and 85” screen sizes. All models support 4K UHD resolution, portrait and tilt installation, IP5X-rated dust resistance and Android-based operation with professional control capabilities.

Enhanced Visibility with the BRAVIA BZ35P Series
The BRAVIA BZ35P Series sits as the enhanced mid-range option, with 500cd/m² brightness and Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare Standard technology.
With a 25% haze coating and XR Processor-driven contrast optimisation, the BZ35P Series is designed to reduce reflections and maintain good image clarity across a range of environments. For residential projects, this makes it well suited to everyday living spaces, media rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, home offices and secondary entertainment zones where glare may still be a concern.
The BZ35P Series is available in 43”, 50”, 55”, 65”, 75” and 85” screen sizes, giving installers a flexible spread of options for different room sizes and display positions. The range also supports 24/7 operation, portrait and tilt installation, IP and RS-232C control, Android OS and IP5X-rated dust resistance.

Core Residential & Professional Solutions with the BZ30P Series
Completing the line-up is the BRAVIA BZ30P Series, which forms the core display option within the range.
The BZ30P models deliver 400cd/m² brightness with Deep Black Non-Glare Standard technology, making them a practical choice for residential spaces where reliability, flexible installation and reduced reflection are more important than maximum brightness.
For installers, these models could work well in home offices, bedrooms, gyms, playrooms, reception areas in larger properties, or other spaces where a more installation-focused display is required.
The BZ30P Series is available in 43”, 50”, 55”, 65”, 75” and 85” screen sizes.

Designed for Flexible Integration
Across the BZ-P Series, Sony has focused on installation flexibility as well as picture performance. Slim chassis designs, narrow bezels and centrally positioned VESA mounting patterns help simplify installation across landscape, portrait and tilted display positions.
That flexibility gives installers more scope when specifying displays for custom residential environments, particularly where the screen needs to fit cleanly into joinery, wall-mounted layouts, portrait installations or more design-led spaces.
The displays are also designed for 24/7 operation, adding reassurance for homes where screens may be used for extended periods, including information displays, lifestyle content, fitness areas, entertainment spaces or control-focused environments.
Energy efficiency has also been improved, with Sony using a redesigned optical system and intelligent backlight control alongside AI scene recognition. According to Sony, the displays can reduce power consumption by approximately 30% compared with previous models.

Professional Support for Residential Projects
A further benefit for installers is the support structure behind the range. As part of Sony’s professional display line-up, the BZ-P Series is backed by Sony’s professional warranty and support, giving integrators additional confidence when specifying displays for premium residential projects.
For AWE dealers, the BZ-P Series provides a strong solution where a conventional television may not be the right fit. With higher brightness, Deep Black Non-Glare options, flexible mounting, professional control and a broad choice of screen sizes, the range gives installers more ways to deliver clear, reliable displays in challenging home environments.
