The LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV brings LG’s ultra-thin Wallpaper TV concept back for 2026 - now with flagship OLED picture technology, an integrated ultra-thin design and Zero Connect wireless connectivity.

In this AWE unboxing and overview, we take a closer look at the 77-inch and 83-inch LG OLED evo W6, exploring the technology behind the display and the key details custom installers need to know when specifying it.

At just 9.95 mm deep, the W6 is designed to sit almost flush to the wall, with power and audio hardware integrated into the screen. Its source connections are housed separately in the Zero Connect Box, allowing compatible video and audio signals to travel wirelessly to the display from up to 10 metres away. Both the screen and Zero Connect Box still require mains power.

We also look at LG’s Hyper Radiant Colour Tech, Brightness Booster Ultra, Reflection Free Premium and Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, alongside the W6’s gaming capabilities, 60 W 4.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio, Gallery Mode and webOS 26.

For custom installation, the W6’s key consideration is not simply its ultra-thin profile, but how the Zero Connect system changes where source equipment can be located. Installers should plan for mains power at both the screen and Zero Connect Box, an appropriate wireless path, LG’s dedicated mounting system, and suitable access and ventilation around connected equipment.
