First UK Showing in AWE Village @ EI LIVE!

There’s another reason why the AWE Village at EI Live! is going to be the most exciting destination at the event. This time we’re grateful to Sony who have just confirmed that this will be the place for the first UK showing of the brand-new Sony Home Cinema Projectors, launching later this year.

Visitors to the AWE Village will have a unique opportunity to get the first look at Sony’s BRAVIA Projector 8 (VPL-XW6100ES) and BRAVIA Projector 9 (VPL-XW8100ES) which will be among the many star attractions at the AWE Village in Farnborough (18 and 19 September). Ideal for all home cinema and media room viewing applications, these new projectors feature a host of high-performance SONY XR Technologies, including:

XR Dynamic Tone Mapping to optimise frame by frame brightness
XR Deep Black to enhance dark scenes with even deeper blacks
XR Triluminos Pro for improved colour volume, and
XR Clear Image which analyses individual objects frame-by-frame and expresses textures as close to reality as possible, down to the finest details

Installers joining us at the AWE Village can also see how these two new projectors are ultra-compact and lightweight, and also include a new keystone correction facility to boost installation flexibility. They provide easy integration with URC, Control 4, Crestron Home, Savant and AMX and also work seamlessly with industry standard remote management and monitoring systems from OvrC and Domotz. Customers will also value Sony’s investment in a more sustainable design which sees each projector equipped with a mercury-free laser light source.
