Epson’s Q-Series brings high-brightness 4K laser projection to premium home cinema, large media rooms and multi-purpose living spaces. The range includes the EH-QB1000, EH-QL3000, delivering 6,000 lumens, and EH-QL7000, offering 10,000 lumens, providing flexible solutions for impressive big-screen viewing.
Available in black and white, all three models feature Epson’s 3LCD laser technology. The EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000 also support interchangeable lenses, offering greater flexibility to suit different room layouts and projection requirements.
Watch the video below for a deep dive into Epson’s Q-Series projectors, including the EH-QB1000, EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000, and explore their key features and installation flexibility.
High Brightness For Large-Format Projection
With 6,000 lumens from the EH-QL3000 and 10,000 lumens from the EH-QL7000, these projectors are designed to deliver impressive images on exceptionally large screens.
When designing for approximately 30 foot-lamberts on a 1.0 gain screen, the EH-QL3000 can support screen widths of around 5.5 metres, while the EH-QL7000 can exceed 7 metres.
This level of brightness helps maintain impactful HDR performance on large screens and supports installations in spaces with some ambient light, as well as dedicated cinema rooms.
Both models feature a laser light source rated for up to 20,000 hours to half brightness, helping maintain performance over the long term.

Flexible Lens Options For Custom Installation
Supplied as body-only units, the EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000 are compatible with Epson’s interchangeable lens range, allowing integrators to select the appropriate lens for the room and desired screen size.
With up to 13 lens options, installations can range from ultra-short throw to extreme long throw, with ratios extending beyond 7:1. Depending on the lens selected, a 4-metre-wide image can be achieved from projection distances ranging from approximately 1.4 to 28.6 metres.
Powered zoom, focus and lens shift simplify installation, with vertical lens shift of up to ±64%, depending on the lens used.
4K Image Quality & HDR Performance
Both projectors deliver 4K resolution at 3840 × 2160 using Epson’s 3LCD laser architecture, providing consistent colour brightness without colour wheel artefacts.
Dynamic Tone Mapping optimises HDR content frame by frame, while a quoted dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 helps deliver detailed images with strong contrast.
Together, these features make the EH-QL3000 and EH-QL7000 compelling options for large-format home cinema and premium residential entertainment projects.
