Sony Pro BRAVIA Displays launch at AWE, featuring 100" and 32" 4K HDR Screens

We are delighted to announce that we will be stocking the brand-new BZ series of Pro BRAVIA displays from Sony, for residential installation only.

The range complements the consumer BRAVIA models perfectly. They offer integrators and their customers an enhanced range including unique 100″ and 32″ 4K HDR models. All models include a 3-year PrimeSupport on-site display replacement service as standard, with an additional 2-year upgrade also available. The full range also includes 85″, 75″, 65″, 55″, 49″ and 43″ models.

With an SRP of only £14k, the 100″ FW-100BZ40J version has allowed Sony to open the ultra-large screen market up to a much wider audience. This is a highly affordable price point compared to other 100″ models that have previously occupied the installer marketplace. Also at a previously unavailable size, the new 32″ FW-32BZ30J model features a native 4K display.

All incorporate the same picture processors as Sony’s BRAVIA televisions and deliver superb picture quality in 4K resolution. Without the distraction of in-built tuners, Pro mode features have the ability to hide unused inputs and deliver a curated menu of smart services. The installer can deliver an uncluttered, premium monitor experience. The 100″ model creates hugely immersive pictures that combine amazing colour, contrast, clarity and smooth motion using the Cognitive Processor XR™ processor and native 4K panel. The processor employs cognitive intelligence which can cross-analyse an array of elements in the picture at once, just as our brains do.

Also featuring LED XR X-Motion Clarity™ technology, the processing ensures that the picture is always smooth, bright and clear, even during fast-moving scenes. Each frame is individually controlled, and its duration optimised, while brightness is boosted when needed. This screen achieves high brightness of 600-nit (typical)/940-nit (peak) by the Full Array Local Dimming backlight.

The FW-100BZ40J accesses and utilises a vast amount of information to give you the best possible picture, analysing patterns in scenes and recreating subtle details to upscale 2K signals close to true 4K quality for incredibly real and immersive viewing.

The FW-32BZ30J features the X1 Processor to deliver a sublime picture from a smaller panel, also native 4K. The included TRILUMINOS technology provides a wide range of colours for natural and realistic images and is perfect for smaller spaces where quality is still not to be compromised.

The System on a Chip (SoC) platform and Android OS enables applications to run efficiently across the range, and the slick user interface allows for easy operation. Additionally, all models support 5GHz Wi-Fi and offer a built-in “soft AP” for directly connecting wireless devices to the display.

Sony Pro BRAVIAs are the only professional displays that feature integrated mirroring functionality through both Chromecast built-in™ and Apple AirPlay 2, providing a simple, quick and seamless connection from a user’s device. With AirPlay 2, customers can stream, control, and share their favourite content directly from their iPhone, iPad or Mac to the display.
