Edinburgh Project Wins URC Unsurpassed Award

All eyes were on UK talent at this year’s URC Unsurpassed Awards, a celebration of excellence in unique residential and commercial automation, which saw AWE customers scooping Gold and Silver for the esteemed ‘Best International Installation’ category!

Gold went to IDES for its brilliant Grove Street Project in Edinburgh, with Hidden Home Technology taking Silver for its Hempstead House project. IDES took on an impressive tech reimagining of a historic residence in Edinburgh’s West End. This ‘whole home integration’ was built upon URC’s Total Control automation system, with a variety of URC touch screens (four TKP-9600’s, four TRC-820’s and one TRC-1080) and handheld remotes to control all aspects of the integration. The homeowner can control the entire home from any of these devices via a simple, easy-to-use UI.
