As WOW!house has made its return to Design Centre Chelsea Harbour for 2026, we’re reflecting on one of our favourite collaborations from last year, where we supported Pirajean Lees’ beautifully conceived Library Room with premium audio solutions from Bowers & Wilkins and Marantz.
Created as a sensory-rich “listening library”, the space challenged traditional ideas of what a library should be. Inspired by the A = 440Hz concert pitch, the room was designed as a sanctuary where visitors could pause, listen and reconnect through music. Every element was carefully considered to create an immersive experience, including the technology.

To support the vision, we were pleased to supply a pair of Bowers & Wilkins 607 S3 loudspeakers alongside the powerful Marantz MODEL M1 wireless streaming amplifier. The system delivered exceptional audio performance while maintaining the carefully curated aesthetic of the room, demonstrating how technology can enhance a space without competing with its design.
The collaboration struck the right note, as following WOW!house, Pirajean Lees chose to keep the system within their own environment.
“We fell in love with the Bowers & Wilkins speakers for their fabulous sound quality. The system has performed brilliantly and has become a real part of both our studio and home. It’s the perfect size for the space while delivering exceptional sound” shared Clémence Pirajean and James Lees, co-founders of Pirajean Lees.

A year later, that decision feels particularly relevant. Across the design and residential technology industries, there is growing recognition that the best projects are created when designers, architects, integrators and technology specialists collaborate from the earliest stages. Rather than technology being added at the end of a project, it is increasingly being considered as an integral part of the overall design experience.
WOW!house continues to champion this approach, with technology playing an increasingly important role in creating spaces that are not only visually stunning but also more immersive, comfortable and enjoyable to live in. This year’s event features a strong presence from the residential technology community, with numerous CEDIA members and technology partners working alongside leading interior designers to showcase what’s possible when design and technology work together seamlessly.

At AWE, we’re proud to support this ongoing conversation. By working closely with designers, architects and integrators, we help ensure that technology complements the design vision while delivering the performance homeowners expect. Whether it’s discreet architectural audio, high-performance entertainment systems or whole-home smart technology, the goal remains the same: creating spaces where technology feels like an additional textile within the design.
As WOW!house 2026 continues through to 2nd July, we’re delighted to look back on a project that perfectly demonstrated this philosophy, and even more delighted that the audio system at the heart of the space is still being enjoyed today.
