Halo Audio Visual, a Bournemouth-based integration company recently completed an office installation project at London retail research company, Assosia. The brief was simple: supply a series of high specification displays to be used in a range of spaces, including boardroom, meeting rooms and recreational areas throughout the building. For a company that specialises in residential integration, taking on a commercial project was a new challenge for the team at Halo Audio Visual, but they rose to it and delivered a truly impressive smart solution.
The Challenge
Having worked with Halo (Smart Homes) previously for a luxury home cinema project, the client was confident that Halo would complete the task to a high standard and to the precise briefing.
The whole office was being renovated, so the technology had to reflect the quality and modernism of the new office design. The client was also very tech savvy and had a clear idea of the kind of display that would bring his vision to life.
The displays were to be used for a range of purposes including video conferencing and presenting to prospective and current clients. Therefore, it was important that the display technology could support high resolution visuals and would be completely reliable.
“We worked closely with the client to decide on the best route to get them the quality, design and practicality they desired.” said Keith Harris of Halo Audio Visual.
The Solution
The client was presented with a range of options at different price points and quality levels. They quickly opted for the higher end solution, primarily made up of Sony Bravia professional displays sourced from AWE. Having already experienced the quality of Sony Bravia displays following his home renovation project, which made the decision easier.
Plus, Halo Audio Visual experience in installing these displays, meant the client could rest easy knowing the installation would be done to the exact specifications noted in the brief.
Specifying the Sony Bravia BZ40 Professional Display series throughout the offices, Halo opted for a variety of different sizes to suit each space and usage. Ranging from 65” to 85”, with a total of six Sony Bravia BZ40 displays installed, providing the office space with continuity and a user-friendly solution throughout.
Halo Audio Visual installed a 65” display in the entrance hall, small meeting room and two in the medium meeting room. In the boardroom, a 75” display provides a central focus point, while a 85” in the communal area will be a great tool for communicating company news and for team collaboration.
The Sony Bravia BZ40 Series is a 4K Ultra HD HDR professional display with superior brightness and contrast of up to 850 nits. Its 4K X-Reality PRO and TRILUMINOS Display gives a crisp yet vivid picture which can reveal extra detail from even lower quality images, a X-Motion Clarity feature allows for smoother, and more natural reproduction of rapidly moving on-screen images. This makes the display perfect for high quality video conferencing and presentations.
For the user, the display can easily be switched from landscape to portrait, adding an extra level of versatility when presenting different types of content. Furthermore, built-in support for HTML5 along with AirPlay2 and Chromecast, make it simple to share content wirelessly.
For the install, Halo also sourced six Sanus LL11B2 flush wall mount brackets from AWE. The slim design allows each display to sit just 1.4cm from the wall, complementing the modern and high-end office interior. A Sanus ProSet features meant that Halo Audio Visual could easily adjust the positioning of the display once installed.
A Denon AVRX2800H, 7.2 channel AVR in the recreation room, supports up to 8K Ultra HD and 3D Audio to produce superior sound and visual quality, when presenting or video conferencing. With HEOS built-in can wirelessly stream online music to create workspace ambience, with superior quality.
The client reported back saying, “We are delighted with the results from Halo AV as they followed our brief and provided the best option for exactly what we needed. As a business, we are also assured by the 3-year advanced on-site replacement service provided by Sony – this is a big plus point for ensuring us peace of mind for the products longevity. We couldn’t be happier with the revamp and we look forward to working with Halo Audio Visual again.”
