Denon has updated its Home 200, 400 and 600 wireless speaker range, expanding its HEOS-based multi-room audio offering with support for Dolby Atmos Music and high-resolution streaming. The three models provide clearly defined options for different room sizes and system requirements, giving installers a flexible route into both standalone and whole-home audio projects.

Designed for Flexible Multi-Room Audio
All three models are built on the HEOS platform, allowing for centralised control of single-room or multi-room systems via the HEOS app. Installers can configure zones, group rooms and manage independent playback across the property.
This provides a consistent ecosystem that can scale over time. A system can begin with a single speaker and expand into a full multi-room installation, or integrate with Denon and Marantz AVRs, soundbars and subwoofers for more complex projects.
Support for Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, alongside AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, allows the speakers to be integrated into a wide range of existing networks and source environments. This reduces the need for additional infrastructure and supports both new-build and retrofit scenarios.

Dolby Atmos Music and Driver Configuration
Support for Dolby Atmos Music introduces height information into playback, offering a more immersive listening experience compared to traditional stereo systems.
The Home 400 and Home 600 models include upfiring drivers, which are particularly relevant in larger or open-plan spaces where vertical dispersion helps improve coverage and spatial presentation.
The Home 600 is positioned as the highest output model in the range, using an eight-driver configuration with dual tweeters, midrange drivers, upfiring drivers and integrated subwoofers. Each driver is powered by its own Class-D amplifier, allowing for controlled output and higher overall sound pressure levels.
The Home 400 uses a six-driver layout with dual tweeters, dual woofers and height drivers, providing a balance between performance and placement flexibility.
The Home 200 is designed for smaller spaces, using a stereo configuration with two tweeters and a 4-inch woofer, supported by three Class-D amplifiers.

High-Resolution Streaming and Source Integration
All models support high-resolution audio streaming over the network, including services such as TIDAL, Qobuz and Amazon Music. Playback of lossless formats, including DSD, is supported via USB or network storage.
For installers, this allows systems to be specified without the need for dedicated external source components, while still meeting client expectations for audio quality.
Physical connectivity includes a USB-C port for direct playback or Ethernet adaptor use, along with a 3.5 mm auxiliary input. This supports integration with local sources or legacy devices where required.
System Design and Home Cinema Applications
The Denon Home speakers can be used beyond standalone music playback. Stereo pairing allows two units to be configured as left and right channels, improving coverage and channel separation in larger rooms.
They can also be used as wireless surround speakers when paired with the Denon Home Sound Bar 550 and Denon Home Subwoofer. This provides a practical solution for creating a 5.1 system without running speaker cable, which is particularly useful in retrofit installations or where cable routes are restricted.
Adjustable bass, treble and width settings allow installers to fine-tune performance based on room acoustics and speaker placement.

Practical Installation Considerations
The range is structured to support different room sizes and use cases:
- Home 200 is suited to bedrooms, smaller living areas or secondary zones
- Home 400 is positioned for main living spaces requiring higher output
- Home 600 is designed for open-plan areas or primary listening spaces where greater scale is needed
All models include onboard controls, quick select presets and optional voice assistant support, allowing both app-based and local interaction.
Dual finish options support integration into a variety of interior designs without requiring additional concealment or mounting solutions.
AWE Support for Installers
Available through AWE, the Denon Home 200, 400 and 600 series provide a scalable platform for wireless multi-room audio and immersive music playback. The AWE team can support installers with system design, product specification and guidance on integrating HEOS-based solutions into residential projects.
