AWE Wins Distributor Of The Year At The Essential Install Awards 2014

Proving that dedication to providing the best service to customers is key, AWE has triumphed at this year’s Essential Install Awards by scooping the Distributor of the Year accolade. AWE impressed the independent panel of judges with its strong product range, highly respected training courses, first class customer support and innovative ways in which it communicates with customers.

“This past year has been a significant one for AWE, so being recognised as Distributor of the Year is great news for the whole team” says Stuart Tickle, Managing Director at AWE. “2014 marked our expansion into brand new headquarters, and we haven’t looked back since. The new space allows us to run top class events and training courses, demonstrate products in a real life environment, and provide outreach for our customers to design professionals and end users with the insight into how technology can integrate into a property.”

AWE only represents respected premium brands, distributed either on an exclusive basis within the UK, or as the preferred partner for the UK custom installation industry. AWE has recently announced three new distribution deals of HDanywhere’s Modular video distribution range, Panasonic Security Camera Solutions and automated window shading from Silent Gliss. To support this, AWE has expanded its training offering and now includes the HDanywhere training course, as well as regular favourites from URC and Philips Dynalite lighting control.

AWE’s Technical Services Team has expanded and provides its trade dealer base with specification, site survey, delivery and installation support for all large screen TV projects. Big screen installation assistance is something that AWE has always offered to its trade customers, but is unique in the CI industry by offering the whole service in-house.
