AWE Supports Pirajean Lees' Library Room at WOW!house 2025

We’re proud to have supported Pirajean Lees at WOW!house 2025 with their beautifully designed library incorporating solutions from Bowers & Wilkins and Marantz.

The globally recognised design event, WOW!house, is held at the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour throughout the month of June into early July. Now in its third year, the pop-up showhouse brings together 22 rooms and outdoor spaces, each one created by a leading interior design studio. For 2025, WOW!house has placed greater emphasis on how technology can enhance design, with audio, lighting and home automation all playing a growing role in shaping the look, feel and functionality of each room.

The Library, is an unconventional, sensory-rich space, curated by interior architecture and design studio Pirajean Lees in collaboration with their long-term partners, iconic Italian textile house Dedar.

Inspired by a shared love of music, Pirajean Lees explains that the concept for the space was rooted in the A = 440 Hz concert pitch – the tuning standard of musical instruments before a concert. This idea is expressed both aurally and visually throughout. Rather than a traditional reading room, the space was envisioned as a “listening library” to create a sanctuary from the noise and pace of modern life. It was important that any technology within the room contributed to the immersive feel without interrupting the aesthetic. Here, it’s not just about decor, but about the resonance that defines the room’s atmosphere.

To support this vision, we provided a pair of Bowers & Wilkins 607 S3 loudspeakers, paired with the sleek and powerful Marantz M1 wireless streaming amplifier. The system delivers premium audio with a minimal yet positive visual impact, proving the perfect match for Pirajean Lees’ specified design. Discreet in form but exceptional in performance, this combination delivers detailed, room-filling sound while sitting comfortably within the designers’ aesthetic vision. The result is a space that not only looks beautiful, but also feels calm, expressive and complete.
